Day 1

Arrival Urumqi
Upon arrival, pick up from Urumqi airport and transfer to dinner. After dinner transfer to hotel for check in. 

Day 2

Urumqi (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) After Breakfast at hotel, proceed to visit Heavenly Lake (approximately1.5hrs), 2000m up in the Tianshan mountain range. which is surrounded by the snow mountains, blooming wildflowers, evergreen pine trees. 40-minute sceniic shuttle bus ride that twists though the dramatic mountains. Then you can either walk to the lakeside in 10mins or take the electronic cart. There are 3 options suggested. Boating cruise to take the incredible view of Tianshan Mountain. Trekking along the lake in the fresh air. (Ship is not includes in Mar & April due to freezing). Then transfer to Grand Bazaar, enjoy shopping at Bazaar.

Day 3

Urumqi – Turpan (2.5 hours) (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) After breakfast, visit to the hottest place in China – the Flaming Hill, situated at the north of ancient Silk Road. The temperature is so high that nothing grows on the hill. The record highest temperature of summer could reach 47.8 °C (118 °F). Then proceed to Jiaohe old city+battery car, enjoy the sunset of Jiaohe Ruins with a history of 2,300 years lies between two rivers on a loess plateau atop a cliff of over 30m. It is one of the best preserved ruins of its ancient era in China, it was include in the World Heritage List on June 22, 2014. Visit to Karez Well, A special irrigation system that the locals make full use of the topography of Turpan to draw the underground water to irrigate their farmland ingeniously. Transfer to Grape Valley. Grape Valley is an area in Turpan, where grape and other fruits are grown in this arid land. The valley is 8km long, 600-2000 meters wide, and is located some 10km east of Turpan’s city center. After visit to Uygur home visit.

Day 4

Turpan – DunHuang (3.5 hours) (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) After breakfast, transfer to train station by bullet train (Second class seat) to DunHuang. Then proceed to DunHuang Museum. DunHuang Museum was set up in 1979, housing more than 13,800 antiques, is one of the biggest museum in Gansu province. It was officially founded in October, 1979. Built with three storeys and covers an area about 2400 square meters, the exhibition building of the museum was completed in 1984. Dunhuang Museum is a comprehensive topography one principally exhibits historic and cultural relics. Now it has collected over 4000 precious cultural relics in the locality. Transfer to the walking tour to the Shazhou Night Market, the most bustling place of Dunhuang at night. It's easy to lose our sense of time wonder the market while enjoy your leisure time and taste some local cuisine.

Day 5

DunHuang (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) After breakfast, proceed to Mogao Grottoes, also known as the Thousand Buddha Grottoes, this UNESCO World Heritage site. It is one of the great artistic and religious wonders of the world and it is famous for its exquisite murals and various sculptures inside the caves, which was built in different dynasties, spanning 1,000 years of Buddhist art, enjoy the Silk Road Movies in the visitor Center about 40 mins before our exploration into the Grottoes.The professional guide from the Mogao will bring you to 8grottoes with their special torch so that you have clear view of the murals and paintings. (Note: No photos and Video in the caves). The visiting time is around 4hrs including movie. Transfer to Echoing Sand Mountain & Crescent Lake. When there is wild wind, the sands will be blown up and make loud sound, while the sound sounds like being produced by some ancient musical instrument when blew by breeze, There is also a Crescent Lake that has been in existence for hundreds of years without ever being buried by the sand. Riding the camel as the Silk Road Caravan in the vast desert is highly recommended (approximately 40mins).

Day 6

DunHuang – JiaYuGuan (5 hours) – Jiuquan (0.5 hours) (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) After breakfast, we will climb the Jiayuguan pass+electric car in the morning. This Ming Dynasty fort guards the strategic Jiayuguan pass, at the western end of the Great Wall – this was the last section built by the Ming Dynasty. and visit the The Great Wall Museum, which was opened to visitor in October 1989 and it is the first one to exhibit the Great Wall culture in a comprehensive and systematic way. (There are many steps from one tower to the other, please consider if are able to walk and climb about 2hrs). Then transfer to Jiuquan – Jiuquan Park. The Jiuquan park calls the spring lake park, located at Jiuquan east 2 kilometers place, because in the garden has Jiuquan to acquire fame, had more than 2000 years history, presently is a collection historic garden, the natural lake, the cultural amusement and rest, the interest entertainment in a body's comprehensive park.

Day 7

Jiuquan – Zhangye (3.5 hours) (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) After Breakfast at hotel, proceed to visit the Grand Buddha Temple, which is the important place of the Silk Road. the Giant Buddha Temple is the largest architectural relic in Gansu Province of the Western Xia (1038-1227) period. China's largest reclining Buddha is well preserved in this temple. Continue visit the Zhangye Danxia National Geological Park + Electric Car, which is 510 square kilometres in total, it located in the north of Qilian mountains, SuNa County territory. It includes the colour hills in Linze country ,ice hills, Danxia and GanZhou District and PingShan lake. The scenic Danxia, is a distance of 40 km from east Zhang Ye city, north from Linze county town by 20 kilometers, this is the most typical arid area of northern China.

Day 8

Zhangye – Wuwei (3 hours) – Lanzhou (4 hours) (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) After breakfast, visit to Leitai Han Tomb, it is a large brick-and-stone structure built during the late Eastern Han Dynasty. A total of two hundred and twenty one pieces of relics were unearthed from the tomb including gold, sliver, copper, iron, bone, stone and pottery. Transfer to Yellow River’s Mother Statue, explore the ancient history and culture of Gansu Province and stroll around the Waterwheel park, an ancient irrigation tool. Then continue to ZhongShan Bridge.

Day 9

Lanzhou – Xi’An (3 hours) (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) After breakfast, transfer to train station by bullet train (Second class seat) to Xi’An. Proceed to City Wall Xi An - Most complete city wall that has survived in China, as well being one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. Transfer to Bell & Drumming Tower - It stands towering above the city center and offers incredible view of Xi'an. Shopping at Muslim Street - The stalls flanking the narrow alleys sell almost everything you can imagine.

Day 10

Xi’An (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
After breakfast, proceed to Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum+Electric Car - A super large collection of life-size terra cotta sculptures in battle formations, reproducing the magnificent guard troops of Emperor Qin Shi Huang (259 - 210BC). Transfer to Huaqing hot spring palace - a complex of hot springs located in an area characterized by mild weather and scenic views at the northern foot of Mount Li. After dinner, enjoy Tang Dance Show.

Day 11

Xi’An (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) After breakfast, visit to Big Wild Goose Pagoda (without climbing tower) - a Buddhist pagoda constructed in 652 during the Tang dynasty. (Without climbling tower). Enjoy shopping at Great Tang All Day Mall. Proceed to Yuanjia Village, at the foot of the hill where Emperor Taizong of Tang Dynasty was buried, Yuanjia Village in Yanxia Town, Liquan County, Shaanxi Province, is conveniently situated within the 30-minute economic ring centered around Xi'an City and Xianyang City. As a National AAA Level Scenic Spot, the village has won many honorary titles including the Most Charming Leisure Village in China, and a Famous Village in a Famous Town in China's National Unique Landscape Tourism. The village is a place that boasts the most traditional delicacies, most special architecture, and most primitive lifestyle of the Guanzhong Region of Shaanxi. After dinner, transfer to airport for flight.
