Day 1

Assemble KLIA - Arrival Hohhot - Inner Mongolia Museum - Dazhao Temple (Old Street) lunch, dinner

Assemble at KLIA Airport for check in. Transit to Beijing before arriving at Hothot.  Upon arrival in Hohhot Baita International Airport, be greeted by our local representative. Then, start your tour of Inner Mongolia Museum (museum closes on Monday).  Then proceed to Dazhao Temple in the Old Street. This well maintained temple complex contains many wonders. In the temple, a tranquil one, you will find monks study and pray within the temple. After visiting the temple, you can visit Saishang Old Street, where there are many local shops which you can pick some souvenirs for your friends & family back home. 

Day 2

Hohhot - Hilamuren Grassland (90 km/1.5hrs) breakfast, lunch, dinner

Depart to Hilamuren Grassland, one of the must-see attractions in Inner Mongolia. In Mongolian language, Xilamuren means "yellow water", and some people would like to call it "Zhao River".
Take part in horse-riding through the vast Greenland (pax below 18 not allowed). Grab the opportunity to try on Inner Mongolia clothing to take memorable photos. Try some of their local delicacies of boiled milk tea & fried guotiao. Enjoy an exciting Wrestling Show, displaying a unique strength and skills. At night, experience a campfire party with traditional Mongolia show. Overnight at a Mongolian Yurt. The yurts are circular tents made of wood and felt from sheeps wool. The shape makes the yurt able to resist winds from any direction; the collapsible structure enables it to be relocated easily. (no double room, not able to accommodate extra bed).

Day 3

Hilamuren Prairie - Hohhot (90km/1.5hrs) - Chulechuan (100km/2hrs)  breakfast, lunch, dinner

From Hilamuren Prairie we travel back to Hohhot, visiting Hsuo Ke Jing Princess House (museum closes on Monday). Then proceed to the General Government office, known as one of the national cultural heritages in China. In Yongzheng Period, in order to strengthen the defense power of the northwest part, a new city was built. During the Qianlong Period, the city was finished. In secession, General Government Office was set here for administration. Return to hotel and overnight.

Day 4

Lechuan - Meidaizhao (30 km/30mins)- Xiang Sha Bay (60 km/1hr) - Erdos (60 km/1 hr) breakfast, lunch, dinner

Visit Meidaizhao Lamasery, which was built in CE 1575 by the Mongol leader Alatan Khan, a direct descendant (17 generations removed) of Genghis Khan during the middle part of the Ming (CE 1369-1644) Dynasty. The lamasery served as the official residence of Alatanhan as well as serving - as it continues to do - as a Tibetan-Buddhist temple for the people. Meidaizhao Lamasery is of great importance for the study of Mongolian history of religion, architecture and arts in the Ming Dynasty. Next, visit Singing Sand Ravine (Xiangsha Bay) is a huge desert resort in the east Kubuqi Desert of Inner Mongolia. There are many activities you can partake at Xiangsha Bay. Included : Round trip cableways, mini trains, surfers, Ordos weddings, camel riding, sand carving. Return to hotel and overnight.

Day 5

Erdos - Genghis Khan Hill (70 km/1 hr) - Hohhot (280 km/4 hr) breakfast, lunch, dinner

Today, explore Genghis Khan Hill Maosoleum. The Mausoleum was completed in 1954, but destroyed by Red Guards in the Cultural Revolution (1966-1976) and after many years’ restoration, the site takes on the present appearance. The main structures of the mausoleum are three grand halls in the shape of Mongolian yurt, which are linked by a corridor. The middle one is the main hall, sacrificing the statue of Genghis Khan with a height of more than 4 meters. A map of the Yuan Dynasty hung on the wall behind the statue. As well as sighting the Wulan Living Buddha House.

Day 6

Hohhot - Mengniu Industrial Park - Mengliang National Customs Garden breakfast, lunch, dinner

Today, you will have a chance to visit Mengniu Industrial Park, one of the leading dairy manufacturer in Hohhot, producing cow’s milk, yogurt, ice cream and more. Then proceed to Zhaojun Museum. According to the archaeological researches, Zhaojun Aotsuka was built in Han Dynasty 2000 years ago and rammed with earth. The height of current Zhaojun Aotsuka is around 31 meters. The new museum intends to pay tribute to Zhaojun Aotsuka by representing construction statue and emotion. Zhaojun Tomb inside the museum, also called 'green tomb' after the green grass that grows on it, it is listed among the eight most popular scenic spots in Hohhot. Nearby you may visit Mengliang national customs garden.

Day 7

Depart Hohhot breakfast

After breakfast, be transferred to the airport for your flight home.
